The nVent HOFFMAN VBD500 is a robust depth dividing bar for floor-standing electrical enclosures, designed to increase internal mounting possibilities and provide a structured division within compatible industrial cabinets. As part of the nVent HOFFMAN VBD depth dividing bar range, it enables accessories to be mounted independently on either side of the enclosure division.
The VBD500 is fitted centrally at the top and bottom of compatible 1200 mm or 1600 mm wide enclosures, providing standard mounting facilities in two sections of 600 mm or 800 mm respectively. This arrangement enables separate installation of accessories such as cable fixing bars and mounting profiles while helping panel builders create organised and flexible equipment layouts.
Designed for enclosures with a nominal depth of 500 mm, the VBD500 is manufactured from durable 1.75 mm zinc-plated steel. The profile has a height of 24 mm and a depth of 90 mm, while its 25 mm hole pattern allows compatible accessories to be adjusted in depth according to installation requirements.
Depth dividing bars such as the nVent HOFFMAN VBD500 provide additional mounting facilities inside large floor-standing electrical enclosures. Installed at the top and bottom of the enclosure division, the bars allow compatible accessories to be fitted separately on either side while helping maximise the usable internal cabinet space.
The VBD500 supports compatible accessories such as CAB(P), CBU, CLPK and CLPF products, with their mounting position adjustable in depth using the 25 mm hole pattern. Compatible VBK brackets are required for mounting, while an appropriate nVent HOFFMAN VB vertical dividing bar can be added where complete mounting facilities throughout the enclosure division are required.
