The Rittal TS 8802.165 is a robust rear section for cable entry designed to seal cables where they enter through the base opening of industrial enclosures. Developed for 1,600 mm wide Rittal TS enclosures and compatible TP configurations, it mounts directly onto the base opening to provide an organised and effectively sealed cable entry solution.
The TS 8802.165 is particularly well suited to cables with identical cross-sections. When the mounting plate is installed in its rearmost position, cables can be routed directly towards the mounting plate without requiring large bending radii, helping simplify installation and improve cable management within the enclosure.
Manufactured from extruded aluminium, the section incorporates resilient PU foam cable clamp strips with a 30 × 25 mm cross-section. The complete cable entry arrangement provides an IP55 protection rating to IEC 60529 when correctly installed, making it suitable for demanding industrial control, automation and electrical distribution applications.
Effective cable entry management helps preserve enclosure protection while allowing power, control and signal cables to be routed efficiently towards installed equipment.
