The Rittal SK 3240.100 is a high-performance TopTherm fan-and-filter unit designed to provide reliable forced-air cooling for electrical enclosures, control panels and industrial automation systems. As part of the proven Rittal TopTherm climate control range, it uses diagonal fan technology to provide superior pressure stability and a more constant airflow for effective heat dissipation inside industrial enclosures.
The SK 3240.100 is supplied as a complete unit ready for installation, including a chopped-fibre filter mat. Its tool-free surface mounting system simplifies enclosure installation, while the diagonal direction of airflow promotes more even distribution of cooling air and helps prevent localised hot spots around heat-generating electrical and electronic components.
Operating from a 230 V single-phase, 50/60 Hz supply, the SK 3240.100 provides an unimpeded airflow of approximately 175 m³/h at 50 Hz and 155 m³/h at 60 Hz with the current chopped-fibre filter configuration. The unit measures 255 × 255 mm, provides IP54 protection as standard and is designed for dependable cooling of industrial control cabinets and machinery enclosures.
Fan-and-filter units provide forced-air enclosure cooling by drawing cooler ambient air through a filter and circulating it across heat-generating electrical and electronic components.
