The Lovato GAKIT160-MCW is a 160 A 3-pole switch disconnector kit for industrial electrical isolation, machinery and power distribution applications. Based on Lovato's GA160A switch disconnector platform, it provides a robust solution for installations requiring dependable three-phase switching and positive circuit isolation.
The underlying GA160A switch disconnector has an IEC conventional free-air thermal current of 160 A and is rated at 160 A AC-21A up to 690 V AC. For more demanding AC-23A switching duties, it provides an operational current of 125 A at 400 V AC and a corresponding operational power rating of 55 kW at 400 V AC.
With a 1000 V rated insulation voltage, 8 kV impulse withstand voltage and a mechanical endurance of approximately 30,000 cycles, the GA160 platform is engineered for demanding industrial service. The switch can be screw-mounted to a plate or installed on a 35 mm DIN rail, providing flexible integration into switchboards, machinery and control cabinets.
