The Lovato LVMKIT20A024 is a complete level control starter kit designed for automatic emptying control of tanks and reservoirs containing conductive liquids. The kit combines a Lovato LVM20A024 modular level monitoring relay with two SN1 electrodes, providing the core components required to implement reliable conductive liquid level detection.
Operating from a 24 V AC auxiliary supply, the LVM20 relay uses low-voltage 7.5 V AC electrode sensing and provides adjustable sensitivity from 2.5–50 kΩ. Up to three electrodes can be connected, allowing the relay to detect liquid levels through the electrical conductivity of the monitored fluid and automatically control an emptying application.
The LVMKIT20A024 provides one SPDT changeover relay output with automatic resetting and fast response, with tripping time of ≤0.6 s and resetting time of ≤0.75 s. Its compact two-module DIN rail relay, adjustable sensitivity and included SN1 electrodes make the kit a practical solution for pump control, tank management and industrial liquid-level automation.
Conductive liquid level relays such as the Lovato LVM20 monitor the electrical resistance between electrodes positioned within a tank or reservoir. When the conductive liquid reaches or leaves the relevant electrode level, the relay changes the state of its output contact, allowing pumps, contactors, alarms or other control equipment to be operated automatically.
