Advanced Soft Starting for Industrial Motors
Soft starters control the voltage and current supplied to a motor during acceleration, reducing the electrical and mechanical stresses associated with direct-on-line starting. The Lovato 51ADX0085B provides three-phase control and multiple starting and stopping methods, allowing motor acceleration and deceleration to be tailored to the requirements of the driven equipment.
The integrated bypass contactor carries the motor current once the starting sequence is complete, while functions including current limitation, torque control, motor thermal protection and PTC monitoring provide comprehensive motor management. The built-in LCD interface and event logging also assist with configuration, monitoring and diagnostics in industrial installations.
Typical Applications
Industrial pumps and pumping systems.
Fans, blowers and ventilation equipment.
Conveyors and material handling systems.
Compressors and industrial machinery.
Heavy-duty production and processing equipment.
Three-phase motor applications requiring controlled acceleration and reduced starting stress.
