The Lovato 51ADX0365 is an advanced three-phase soft starter designed for controlled starting and stopping of asynchronous three-phase motors in severe-duty industrial applications. As part of the Lovato Electric ADX soft starter series, it is designed for severe-duty operation with a starting current of up to 5 × Ie and is predisposed for use with an external bypass contactor.
The 51ADX0365 provides three-phase control with torque or voltage ramp starting and current limitation. It also supports torque-ramp, voltage-ramp and free-wheel stopping, together with motor current thermal protection, torque control, kick start, dynamic braking, PTC input, event logging and RS232 communication for comprehensive motor control and diagnostics.
With a rated starter current of 365 A and a three-phase 208–415 V AC rated supply, the 51ADX0365 has IEC motor ratings of 110 kW at 230 V AC and 200 kW at 400 V AC. Forced cooling and provision for an external bypass contactor make it suitable for demanding high-power industrial motor-starting applications.

Advanced Soft Starting for Industrial Motors
Soft starters progressively control the electrical power supplied to a motor during acceleration, helping to reduce the high starting current and mechanical stress associated with direct-on-line starting. The Lovato 51ADX0365 provides three-phase control with configurable torque or voltage ramp starting, allowing acceleration to be matched to the requirements of the motor and driven equipment.
The 51ADX0365 is predisposed for connection to an external bypass contactor rather than incorporating an internal bypass. Its motor management functions include current thermal protection, current-limited starting, torque control, kick start, dynamic braking and PTC input, while the LCD display, event log and RS232 interface support configuration and diagnostics.
Typical Applications
Industrial pumps and pumping systems.
Fans, blowers and ventilation equipment.
Conveyors and material handling systems.
Compressors and industrial machinery.
Heavy-duty production and processing equipment.
High-power three-phase motor applications requiring controlled acceleration and external bypass arrangements.
