The Lovato 11B400L00380380 is a heavy-duty three-pole industrial power contactor designed for reliable switching of large motors and high-current electrical loads. Part of the robust Lovato B400 contactor series, this model features a 380–415 V AC/DC operating coil and is supplied with a factory-fitted Lovato G495 mechanical latch.
The mechanical latch uses a separate 380–415 V AC control supply and mechanically retains the contactor in its operated position after the main coil is de-energised. This maintained switching arrangement reduces continuous coil consumption while providing secure contact retention in industrial automation and power-control systems.
With an IEC conventional thermal current rating of 550 A and an AC-3 operational rating of 420 A / 225 kW at 400 V, the Lovato 11B400L00380380 provides dependable switching capacity for large three-phase motors, process machinery and demanding industrial installations.

Reliable Maintained Switching for Industrial Systems
Industrial contactors allow large motors and high-power electrical loads to be controlled through a comparatively low-power control circuit. The Lovato 11B400L00380380 adds a mechanical latching mechanism that retains the contactor in its operated position after the main operating coil has been de-energised.
This maintained operating principle can reduce continuous coil power consumption while providing stable switching in motor control centres, automated machinery and industrial power systems. The separate AC latch circuit enables remote release when a change of switching state is required.
Typical Applications
Large three-phase industrial motor starters.
Maintained switching and latching control circuits.
Motor control centres and industrial switchboards.
Pumps, compressors and ventilation equipment.
Conveyors and heavy process machinery.
Industrial automation and power-distribution systems.
