As part of the Carlo Gavazzi PPC01 monitoring relay series, it provides comprehensive supervision of three-phase power systems used in industrial automation, machinery and electrical control applications.
The relay is designed for 380–480 V AC three-phase supplies and operates at 50–60 Hz. The PPC01DM48 supports selectable nominal voltage ranges covering 380–415 V AC and 440–480 V AC systems, with the monitored three-phase supply providing the relay's operating power. It can detect phase sequence and phase loss while also monitoring voltage levels, asymmetry and tolerance.
The PPC01DM48 provides two SPDT electromechanical relay outputs, allowing separate control or alarm functions from the monitored conditions. Adjustable voltage and asymmetry/tolerance thresholds, together with alarm delays from 0.1 s to 30 s, provide flexible configuration for industrial applications. Its compact 36 mm wide plug-in housing is designed for an 11-pin socket.
