ABB M3SS1-30U is a grey non-illuminated 3-position maintained A-B-C selector switch with a short rotary handle, chrome-metal bezel and IP66 front protection for 22 mm industrial control-panel applications.

The ABB M3SS1-30U is a robust 3-position maintained selector switch designed for operator control in industrial machinery, electrical control panels and automation systems. Part of ABB's Modular Plastic pilot device range, it combines a grey short-handle rotary actuator with a durable chrome-metal bezel for a compact and professional operator interface.
The M3SS1-30U provides maintained A-B-C selector operation, with three stable positions that remain selected until the operator deliberately moves the handle. Its non-illuminated design is well suited to machine mode selection, process functions and other applications where a clear mechanical three-way control interface is required.
Designed for standard 22 mm pilot-device mounting, the M3SS1-30U offers IP66 front protection and NEMA 4X protection for demanding industrial environments. ABB's modular architecture allows compatible contact blocks and mounting components to be selected separately according to the required control-circuit configuration.
Three-position maintained selector switches provide operators with a straightforward method of selecting between multiple machine states, operating modes or process functions. The ABB M3SS1-30U provides three A-B-C positions, allowing the selected state to remain mechanically latched until the operator deliberately moves the short rotary handle to another position.
The grey actuator provides clear mechanical identification, while the chrome-metal bezel creates a durable front-panel interface. ABB's modular pilot-device architecture enables compatible contact blocks to be configured according to the control requirements, making the M3SS1-30U suitable for new machinery, OEM panels and compatible ABB pilot-device installations.
