The Danfoss 175G5525 is a compact VLT® Soft Starter MCD 500 designed to provide smooth, controlled starting and stopping of three-phase induction motors in industrial machinery and automation systems. Identified by the type code MCD5-0021B-T5-G1X-20-CV2, this model features a 110-120 V AC / 220-240 V AC control supply, making it ideal for applications requiring an alternative control voltage configuration.
The MCD 500 series helps reduce electrical inrush current and mechanical stress during motor acceleration and deceleration. Adaptive Acceleration Control automatically optimises the motor starting profile, extending the life of motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors and driven equipment while reducing maintenance requirements.
With a 21 A rated operational current, a three-phase 200-525 V AC mains supply and a 110-120 V AC or 220-240 V AC control supply, the Danfoss 175G5525 is ideally suited to pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors and general industrial machinery.
