With the type code MCD5-1200C-T5-G5X-00-CV1, this intelligent digital soft starter combines Adaptive Acceleration Control, integrated bypass technology and advanced motor protection to deliver exceptional reliability and performance in high-power applications.
The MCD 500 series is designed to minimise electrical inrush current and mechanical shock during motor acceleration and deceleration. Adaptive Acceleration Control continuously adjusts the motor starting profile to suit the connected load, helping extend the service life of motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and other driven equipment while reducing maintenance costs and improving overall productivity.
With a 1200 A rated operational current, a three-phase 200-525 V AC mains supply and a 24 V AC/DC control supply, the Danfoss 175G5520 is ideally suited to mining operations, heavy process industries, water treatment facilities, marine installations and large-scale manufacturing plants. The integrated bypass contactor significantly reduces heat generation and energy losses once the motor reaches full operating speed.
