Why Choose the Yaskawa PS-V10M 24 V Power Supply Option?
The Yaskawa PS-V10M is a dedicated 24 V DC auxiliary power supply option designed for larger-frame Yaskawa V1000 AC drives. It maintains control circuit power when the main drive supply is interrupted, allowing continued access to diagnostics, communications, parameters and I/O functions.
Unlike the inverter main power supply, the PS-V10M powers only the drive control electronics. This allows engineers and maintenance personnel to view fault information, monitor communications and access drive settings even when mains power is unavailable.
The PS-V10M is intended for larger 200 V and 400 V class V1000 drive models, including selected drives from approximately 5.5 kW to 15 kW depending on voltage class and model configuration.
Key Advantages
Dedicated 24 V DC auxiliary power option for Yaskawa V1000 drives.
Maintains control circuit operation during mains power loss.
Allows continued access to fault history and drive parameters.
Supports communication networks and I/O monitoring during outages.
Designed for larger-frame V1000 inverter models.
Compact option module for industrial drive installations.
What Does the PS-V10M Do?
The PS-V10M provides external 24 V DC power directly to the V1000 control circuit. During a mains power interruption, the drive automatically switches to the auxiliary supply, allowing communications, parameter access and fault monitoring to remain operational. It does not provide power to the inverter output stage or connected motor.
Typical Applications
Large-frame Yaskawa V1000 drive installations.
Industrial automation systems.
Networked inverter control systems.
Drive diagnostics and maintenance applications.
Process control systems requiring communication continuity.
Industrial control panels and machinery.
