Why Choose the Wöhner 01185 CRITO Profile Terminal?
The Wöhner 01185 is a heavy-duty CRITO profile terminal designed for connecting large copper conductors to double-T section busbars in high-current industrial power distribution systems. As part of the proven Wöhner 60Classic system, it provides a secure and dependable connection for centre-feed units, switchboards and low-voltage distribution assemblies.
The terminal offers a generous 41 × 20–42 mm terminal space and accommodates conductors with a technical cross-sectional range of approximately 320 to 800 mm². It can also connect laminated copper conductors and rigid flat copper busbars, provided they are installed without mechanical tension.
With an IEC rated current of 1,600 A, a 690 V AC rated voltage and a maximum permitted voltage of 1,500 V DC, the Wöhner 01185 is engineered for demanding high-current installations. Its robust screw-clamp connection and high short-circuit withstand capability make it suitable for professional switchgear and power distribution applications.
Key Advantages
Heavy-duty profile terminal for high-current busbar systems.
1,600 A IEC rated current for demanding power distribution applications.
Suitable for conductors up to 800 mm².
Compatible with double-T section busbars.
Can accommodate laminated and rigid flat copper busbars.
Profile terminals provide a secure interface between large conductors and shaped busbar systems, enabling high electrical currents to be distributed safely through industrial switchboards. A correctly installed terminal creates a stable, low-resistance connection while supporting reliable operation under demanding load and short-circuit conditions.
The Wöhner 01185 is designed for double-T section busbars and supports both laminated copper conductors and rigid flat copper busbars. Rigid copper bars must be installed without mechanical tension, and aluminium cables must not be used. Three terminals are required to create a complete three-pole connection.
