The Wöhner 33553 is a heavy-duty 3-pole switch disconnector designed for the safe isolation and switching of high-current electrical circuits in industrial power distribution systems. Part of the proven Wöhner QUADRON 60Classic Speed range, it is engineered for direct mounting onto compatible 60 mm busbar systems and is operated using a door coupling rotary handle, making it ideal for switchboards, motor control centres and OEM electrical assemblies.
The switch incorporates an operator-independent spring-controlled snap-action mechanism that delivers fast and reliable switching regardless of handle speed. Double-breaking main contacts provide dependable electrical isolation, while the integrated FLAG position indicator clearly displays the switch position for safer operation and maintenance.
With a 320 A rated current, 3-pole configuration and M10 bottom-connected screw terminals, the Wöhner 33553 is suitable for demanding industrial installations. The switch can be locked in the neutral position using up to three padlocks and may also be used as a mains disconnector or Emergency Off switch when installed with the appropriate red/yellow door coupling handle in accordance with IEC / EN 60204-1.
