The Rittal RX9360.241 is a specialised 3-pole RiLineX vertical connection adaptor designed for side infeed from either the left or right on RiLineX 60 mm busbar systems. It is engineered for vertical board installations, corner connections using laminated copper connection straps, and T-connections between horizontal and vertical RiLineX systems, providing exceptional flexibility in complex power distribution assemblies.
Designed for switchgear manufacturers, panel builders and industrial electrical engineers, the RX9360.241 features a snap-on mounting system with a single screw that simultaneously secures both the adaptor and conductor, reducing installation time while maintaining reliable electrical contact. The adaptor accepts large round conductors from 150 mm² to 300 mm² as well as laminated copper bars with a clamping area of 32 × 20 mm.
Suitable for systems operating up to 1000 V AC or 1500 V DC, the adaptor supports round-conductor currents up to 710 A (IEC) and laminated copper bar currents up to 950 A (IEC). Manufactured from durable polyamide (PA 6), it offers touch-safe IP2X protection and complies with IEC/EN 61439-1 and UL 508 standards. This adaptor is intended exclusively for RiLineX systems and must not be used with other busbar systems such as RiLine60.
The RX9360.241 has been specifically developed for vertical power distribution within RiLineX systems. Unlike standard connection adaptors, it enables side feeding from either direction, making it particularly suitable for vertically mounted boards, corner transitions and T-connections where conventional feed arrangements are impractical.
