The Pizzato FR 2293-M1 is a compact safety switch with separate actuator designed for monitoring movable guards, safety doors and protected access points on industrial machinery. Part of the established Pizzato FR safety switch series, it combines a robust technopolymer housing with mechanically operated safety contacts for dependable guard-position monitoring.
The separate-actuator design allows the switch body to remain fixed to the machine while a compatible actuator is installed on the movable guard. When the guard is opened, withdrawal of the actuator mechanically operates the internal contact block, enabling the connected safety-related control system to identify the change in guard position and initiate the required machine response.
The FR 2293-M1 uses a 2NO + 1NC slow-action contact configuration with positive-opening operation of the NC safety contact. The M1 version provides an M16 × 1.5 threaded conduit entry, while the FR-series technopolymer construction provides a compact and practical solution for industrial machine guarding and safety interlocking.
