This safety switch features a 2 NO + 1 NC slow-action B22 contact configuration. The normally closed contact incorporates positive-opening operation, providing direct mechanical opening when the separate actuator is withdrawn and allowing the switch to be incorporated into appropriately designed safety-related control systems.
The FX 2293-D combines a durable technopolymer housing with a straight separate actuator and two PG13.5 cable entries. It provides IP67 protection according to EN 60529 and IP69K protection according to ISO 20653 when correctly installed, making it suitable for demanding industrial machine environments.
The Pizzato FX 2293-D is designed to monitor movable protective devices surrounding hazardous areas of industrial machinery. The straight actuator is fitted to the moving guard and enters the switch head when the guard is closed, enabling the associated machine control or safety system to monitor the position of the protective device.
When the guard opens, the actuator is withdrawn and the slow-action mechanism changes the state of the contacts.
