Why Choose the Pizzato NS G3ST1DMK-F41 Safety Locking Switch?

The Pizzato NS G3ST1DMK-F41 is an advanced RFID safety interlock switch with guard locking designed for monitoring and controlling access to hazardous areas of industrial machinery. As part of the Pizzato NS series RFID safety switches with lock, it combines non-contact RFID actuator detection, electronic safety outputs and robust mechanical guard locking in a compact industrial device.

Supplied complete with the VN NS-F41 high-level coded RFID actuator, the NS G3ST1DMK-F41 provides enhanced protection against bypassing or manipulation. The F41 actuator uses individual high-level coding in accordance with EN ISO 14119, allowing the switch to recognise its associated actuator rather than any interchangeable actuator of the same family.

This version uses the G working method, with the actuator locked when the solenoid is de-energised and Mode 2 operation in which the OS safety outputs are active when the guard actuator is inserted. It also features a front key-operated auxiliary release, side connection arrangement and a 12-pole M12 connector, making it well suited to sophisticated machine guarding and industrial automation systems.

Key Advantages

  • Advanced RFID safety interlock with guard locking for industrial machinery.
  • VN NS-F41 high-level coded actuator helps protect against unauthorised bypassing.
  • De-energised solenoid locking principle provides secure mechanical guard locking.
  • Maximum actuator holding force of 2100 N.
  • Redundant electronic architecture supports safety systems up to PL e and SIL 3 when correctly integrated.
  • Front key-operated auxiliary release provides controlled manual unlocking.
  • Two safety inputs and two safety outputs support integration into advanced safety circuits.
  • Robust IP67 and IP69K protection for demanding industrial environments.

Key Features

  • Pizzato NS series RFID safety switch with lock.
  • Complete with VN NS-F41 high-level coded RFID actuator.
  • G working method: actuator locked with de-energised solenoid.
  • Mode 2: OS safety outputs active with the actuator inserted.
  • 2 safety inputs IS1–IS2 and 2 safety outputs OS1–OS2.
  • Signalling outputs for actuator inserted and actuator locked status.
  • Two solenoid activation inputs and reset input.
  • Front key release with variable orientation.
  • Side cable or connector direction.
  • 12-pole M12 connector for electrical connection.
  • Technopolymer housing for industrial machine environments.
  • RFID actuation provides reliable, non-contact guard detection.

Reliable Guard Locking for Industrial Machinery

The Pizzato NS series is designed for machinery where access to hazardous areas must be carefully controlled. Its combination of RFID actuator detection and mechanical guard locking allows the control system to monitor guard position while preventing access when operating conditions require the guard to remain secured.

The NS G3ST1DMK-F41 combines two electronic safety inputs and two safety outputs with dedicated status signalling and solenoid-control connections. NS series devices can also be incorporated into series-connected safety architectures, helping machine builders create sophisticated safety systems while maintaining high functional safety performance when the complete circuit is correctly designed and validated.

Typical Applications

  • Machine guards and protective doors.
  • Automated production and assembly machinery.
  • Packaging and processing equipment.
  • Robotic cells and automated manufacturing systems.
  • Conveyors and material handling equipment.
  • Machinery with hazardous moving components.
  • Industrial safety circuits requiring controlled guard access.
  • OEM machinery and factory automation systems.
