Why Choose the IMO FLIH/00-0C Through-Beam Photoelectric Emitter?

The IMO FLIH/00-0C is a robust through-beam photoelectric emitter designed for reliable non-contact detection in industrial automation and demanding sensing applications. Part of the FL photoelectric sensor series, it uses an infrared LED source and works with a compatible receiver to create a through-beam sensing system with a nominal detection range of up to 30 m.

Designed around a compact M18 T-style optical head, the FLIH/00-0C combines straightforward installation with a wide beam angle that assists sensor alignment. The emitter requires no sensitivity adjustment and provides coded infrared emission, helping reduce mutual optical interference when sensors are installed in demanding automated equipment.

The FLIH/00-0C operates from 19.2–28.8 V DC and is supplied with a 5 m PVC radial cable. Its PBT and PC construction provides IP67 enclosure protection, while the front optical head achieves IP69K, making the sensor particularly well suited to car washes, machinery and industrial environments exposed to water and contamination.

Key Advantages

  • Long-range through-beam detection up to 30 m.
  • Infrared 850 nm LED emission for dependable photoelectric sensing.
  • Compact M18 T-style sensor design for machinery installation.
  • IP67 sensor protection with an IP69K front head for demanding environments.
  • Wide beam angle helps simplify emitter and receiver alignment.
  • Coded emission helps provide anti-interference performance in multi-sensor installations.

Key Features

  • IMO FL series photoelectric sensor.
  • Through-beam emitter operating principle.
  • 30 m nominal sensing distance.
  • 19.2–28.8 V DC operating voltage.
  • Infrared LED emission at 850 nm.
  • 5 m PVC radial cable connection.
  • Durable PBT + PC housing with PC active head.
  • Integrated reverse-polarity, short-circuit and impulsive overvoltage protection.

Reliable Photoelectric Detection for Industrial Automation

Through-beam photoelectric sensing uses a separate emitter and receiver positioned opposite one another. The emitter projects an infrared beam towards the receiver, and an object passing between the two devices interrupts the beam so that the receiver can provide a corresponding switching signal to the machine control system.

The IMO FLIH/00-0C provides the emitter side of this sensing arrangement and is designed for applications requiring long detection distances and reliable operation in harsh environments. Its high degree of environmental protection, coded emission and wide beam angle make the FL series particularly suitable for car washes and other industrial equipment where moisture, contamination and sensor alignment can present challenges.

Typical Applications

  • Automatic car wash equipment.
  • Industrial conveyor systems.
  • Object and presence detection.
  • Packaging and production machinery.
  • Material handling equipment.
  • Industrial automation systems requiring long-range through-beam sensing.
