Why Choose the Carlo Gavazzi VTI4 Conductive Level Probe?
The Carlo Gavazzi VTI4 is a robust conductive level probe designed for reliable level detection in electrically conductive liquids. Part of the Carlo Gavazzi VTI level sensor series, it uses four isolated stainless-steel electrodes to provide dependable sensing for industrial tanks, vessels and process equipment.
The VTI4 features four 1 m AISI 316 stainless-steel probes, each with a diameter of 5 mm, together with a chemically resistant PTFE housing. This construction makes the probe particularly suitable for demanding industrial environments where resistance to moisture, chemicals and process media is important.
With a 1.5-inch pipe thread, 1 m silicone connection cable and IP67 protection rating, the VTI4 provides a practical solution for conductive liquid level monitoring. The electrodes can be adapted to the required application level, allowing the sensor to support multiple level detection points when connected to a compatible conductive level relay.

Reliable Conductive Level Monitoring
Conductive level probes detect liquid levels by using the electrical conductivity of the process medium. When a conductive liquid reaches an electrode, the associated level control relay can detect the change and use it for functions such as minimum-level, maximum-level, filling or emptying control.
The VTI4's four-electrode configuration enables several level points to be monitored with a single probe assembly. Its stainless-steel sensing elements and PTFE construction provide a durable solution for industrial water, process liquid and chemical-handling applications where compatible conductive media are present.
Typical Applications
Industrial tank level monitoring.
Water and wastewater systems.
Process vessels containing conductive liquids.
Maximum and minimum liquid level control.
Automatic filling and emptying systems.
Chemical and process industry equipment.
