Why Choose the ABB 1SVR560730R3403 Grid Feeding Monitoring Relay?
The ABB 1SVR560730R3403, also known as the CM-UFD.M34, is a multifunctional grid feeding monitoring relay designed to provide interface protection between renewable energy generation systems and the public electricity grid. It continuously monitors critical electrical parameters and initiates disconnection when grid conditions move outside permitted limits.
Developed in accordance with the DEWA Distributed Renewable Resources Generation standard, the CM-UFD.M34 monitors phase-to-phase and phase-to-neutral voltages, grid frequency and other network conditions. Its programmable monitoring functions help protect grid stability while supporting the safe connection of photovoltaic, wind and distributed generation installations.
The relay offers a phase-to-phase measuring range of 0–540 V AC and a phase-to-neutral measuring range of 0–312 V AC. Three changeover output contacts allow the relay to control external decoupling devices such as contactors, switch-disconnectors or circuit breakers when an abnormal grid condition is detected.
Key Advantages
Multifunctional grid feeding monitoring relay for renewable energy installations.
Designed in accordance with the DEWA DRRG standard.
Monitors overvoltage, undervoltage, overfrequency and underfrequency conditions.
Wide measuring range of up to 540 V AC phase-to-phase.

Reliable Grid Interface Protection
Grid feeding monitoring relays supervise the quality and stability of the public electricity network at the point where a renewable energy system is connected. The ABB CM-UFD.M34 measures voltage and frequency continuously and compares the readings with configured protection thresholds.
When an unacceptable condition is detected, the relay changes the state of its output contacts and signals an external decoupling device to disconnect the generating system from the grid. Once stable network conditions have been restored and the configured reconnection requirements are satisfied, the installation can be safely reconnected.
Typical Applications
Commercial and industrial photovoltaic installations.
Distributed renewable energy generation systems.
Grid-connected solar inverter systems.
