The ABB S201P-D2 is a compact and dependable 1-pole miniature circuit breaker (MCB) from the ABB S200P System pro M compact series, designed to provide reliable overload and short circuit protection in residential, commercial and industrial electrical installations. With a D characteristic trip curve, it is suited to circuits where higher inrush currents may occur.
This current limiting circuit breaker uses ABB’s proven thermal magnetic protection technology, combining a delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection with an electromechanical tripping mechanism for short circuit protection. Its compact DIN rail mounted format supports fast installation inside distribution boards, control cabinets and machinery panels.
With a 2 A current rating, 1-pole configuration and 25 kA breaking capacity, the ABB S201P-D2 is ideal for low current control circuits, auxiliary supplies and equipment protection where dependable switching and accurate protection are required.
The ABB S201P-D2 automatically disconnects the circuit when overload or short circuit conditions occur. Its delayed thermal tripping mechanism responds to sustained overloads, while the electromechanical trip mechanism provides rapid disconnection during short circuit faults.
