The EMAS MKS1TM-4 is a compact and dependable motor protection circuit breaker designed to protect three-phase electric motors against overloads, short circuits and phase failure. Part of the EMAS MKS series, it combines adjustable thermal overload protection with fixed magnetic short-circuit protection, providing an effective solution for industrial motor control panels and machinery.
Its adjustable thermal calibration range of 2.5 to 4 A allows the trip setting to be matched closely to the rated current of the connected motor. The fixed magnetic release is set at approximately 12 times the operational current, enabling rapid disconnection when a severe short-circuit fault occurs.
The MKS1TM-4 also incorporates phase-failure protection and ambient temperature compensation to support consistent performance in demanding applications. Designed for straightforward installation on a standard 35 mm DIN rail, it is suitable for motor control centres, OEM equipment, pumps, fans, conveyors and automated production machinery.
