The EMAS MKS1TMK-16 is a high-performance motor protection circuit breaker with an IP65 enclosure, designed to protect three-phase motors against overloads, short circuits and phase failure. Part of the EMAS MKS series, it combines adjustable thermal overload protection with fixed magnetic short-circuit protection in a ready-to-install enclosed assembly suitable for demanding industrial environments.
Featuring an adjustable thermal current range of 10 to 16 A, the MKS1TMK-16 can be accurately matched to the connected motor. The integrated magnetic trip mechanism operates at approximately 12 times the operational current, providing rapid disconnection during fault conditions to minimise equipment damage and downtime.
Supplied within a durable IP65 enclosure, the MKS1TMK-16 offers excellent protection against dust and water ingress, making it ideal for workshops, manufacturing plants, pumping stations and outdoor industrial applications where additional environmental protection is required.
Motor protection circuit breakers continuously monitor motor current and disconnect the supply during overload or fault conditions. The adjustable thermal release protects against overheating, while the magnetic trip responds instantly to severe short circuits, helping extend motor life and reduce maintenance costs.
