The EMAS MKS1TMK-20 is an enclosed thermal-magnetic motor protection circuit breaker designed to protect three-phase electric motors against overloads, short circuits and phase failure. Part of the dependable EMAS MKS series, it combines adjustable motor protection with a durable enclosure, providing a practical solution for machinery, pumps, conveyors and industrial control systems.
Its adjustable thermal current range of 16 to 20 A enables the protection setting to be matched closely to the motor's rated operating current. Fixed magnetic short-circuit protection at approximately 12 times the operational current provides rapid disconnection during high-current faults, helping reduce equipment damage and unplanned downtime.
The MKS1TMK-20 is supplied in an IP65 enclosure, providing protection against dust and water jets. With a minimum short-circuit breaking capacity of 6 kA at 400 V, phase-failure protection and ambient temperature compensation, it is suitable for demanding industrial locations where reliable enclosed motor control is required.
