The Mersen HP10M15 is a compact and dependable gPV photovoltaic fuse link developed specifically for protecting solar PV circuits against overcurrents, ground faults and line faults. As part of the proven Mersen HelioProtection® HP10M series, it is engineered for the distinctive low fault-current conditions found in photovoltaic arrays.
Rated at 15 A and 1000 V DC, the HP10M15 provides full-range photovoltaic circuit protection for individual PV strings, combiner boxes and inverter input circuits. Its low minimum breaking-current capability allows safe interruption from approximately 1.35 times the fuse rated current, helping protect cables and valuable solar equipment under fault conditions.
The HP10M15 features a compact 10.4 × 38.1 mm cylindrical body with tin-plated copper ferrule terminals for clip mounting. Its enhanced construction withstands continuous temperature and current cycling, supporting long service life in grid-connected and off-grid photovoltaic installations.
Photovoltaic arrays can continue producing DC current whenever sufficient light is available. Ground faults, line faults and reverse currents can therefore place cables, modules and connected equipment at risk unless correctly coordinated overcurrent protection is installed.
