The Mersen A300725 is a Protistor® high-speed semiconductor fuse intended for the protection of sensitive power electronic components against damaging short-circuit currents. Its fast-operating fuse technology is designed for equipment containing power semiconductors such as diodes, thyristors and IGBT modules.
Mersen Protistor® fuses are engineered to restrict the electrical energy passed into a circuit during a fault. This low let-through energy helps reduce thermal and mechanical stress on semiconductor components, limiting the potential for secondary equipment damage and unplanned downtime.
