The Mersen SPA130 is a purpose-designed pistol handle operating shaft for compatible Mersen UL 508 non-fusible disconnect switch assemblies. Featuring a 6 × 6 mm square profile and an overall length of 130 mm, it provides the mechanical connection between an enclosure-mounted pistol handle and the disconnect switch mechanism installed inside the panel.
The SPA130 enables a compatible disconnect switch to be operated safely from outside the electrical enclosure. Its square shaft construction provides secure engagement with the operating handle and internal switch mechanism, supporting reliable transfer of rotational movement during switching and equipment isolation.
With its 130 mm shaft length, the SPA130 is suitable for control panels where a moderate distance separates the enclosure door from the internally mounted switch. The shaft forms part of a compatible door-interlocking arrangement and is supplied separately from the pistol handle and disconnect switch.

Reliable External Operation for Disconnect Switches
The Mersen SPA130 transfers rotational movement from an externally mounted pistol handle to a compatible disconnect switch located inside an electrical enclosure. This allows machinery and electrical equipment to be switched or isolated without opening the panel during normal operation.
When installed with the appropriate Mersen handle and switch mechanism, the end of the shaft contributes to the enclosure interlocking system. This helps prevent the panel door from being opened while the disconnect switch remains in the ON position, improving operational safety.
