The Mersen 83230111 is a high-performance Type 2+3 surge protection device (SPD) designed to protect low-voltage electrical installations against transient overvoltages caused by lightning strikes and switching events. As part of the Mersen Surge-Trap® Pluggable STPT23 LF Series, it provides dependable protection for industrial, commercial and OEM electrical systems while remaining leakage current free (LF) for compatibility with Power Line Communication (PLC) networks.
This compact 2-pole pluggable surge protection device is designed for 230 V AC TT (1Ph+N) systems using a 1+1 configuration.
