The ABB S201-D25 is a high-quality single-pole miniature circuit breaker (MCB) designed to protect electrical circuits against overloads and short circuits. The S201-D25 incorporates two complementary tripping mechanisms. A delayed thermal mechanism provides overload protection, while an electromechanical mechanism responds rapidly to short-circuit faults. With a 25 A rated current, a D curve tripping characteristic and a 6 kA rated breaking capacity according to IEC/EN 60898-1, the ABB S201-D25 is particularly suitable for circuits with high temporary starting currents.
