The IMO UB10D1020A is an industrial miniature circuit breaker (MCB) designed to protect electrical circuits against overload and short-circuit faults. As part of the IMO UB10 circuit breaker series, the UB10D1020A features a D curve tripping characteristic. This operating curve is suitable for circuits containing equipment with high start-up or inrush currents, including electric motors, transformers, solenoids and other inductive loads.
With a rated current of 20 A, a single-pole configuration and a 10 kA short-circuit breaking capacity, the UB10D1020A offers robust branch circuit protection for demanding industrial applications. Its compact DIN rail mounting format also supports efficient installation inside electrical cabinets and distribution assemblies.
Miniature circuit breakers automatically interrupt the electrical supply when an overload or short circuit is detected. Their thermal mechanism responds to sustained excess current, while the magnetic mechanism provides rapid disconnection during severe short-circuit conditions.
