The Chint V9 is a compact and reliable undervoltage release accessory designed to protect electrical loads by automatically tripping compatible Chint miniature circuit breakers and RCBOs when the supply voltage drops below a safe operating level. It helps prevent unsafe operation, equipment damage and unexpected restart conditions caused by voltage loss or significant voltage reduction.
Designed for use with compatible Chint NB1, NBH8, NB1L and NBH8LE series protective devices, the V9 mounts to the left-hand side of the MCB or RCBO using a dedicated pin interface. It is suitable for residential, commercial and industrial distribution boards where undervoltage protection and positive safety operation are required.
With a rated control voltage of AC 230 V 50/60 Hz, the Chint V9 prevents breaker closing when the voltage is too low, trips the connected device during undervoltage conditions and allows reliable operation when the voltage returns to the normal operating range.
Undervoltage releases such as the Chint V9 are used to open a connected protective device when the supply voltage falls below an acceptable level. This helps prevent motors, control equipment and connected electrical loads from operating under unsafe voltage conditions.
