The Lovato DM4T1250 is a heavy-duty solid-core current transformer designed for accurate current measurement in industrial switchboards, electrical distribution systems and energy-monitoring applications. Featuring a 1250/5 A transformation ratio, it converts a primary current of up to 1250 A into a standard 5 A secondary output for connection to compatible energy meters, multifunction measuring instruments, ammeters and power analysers.
Its robust solid-core construction is designed for new electrical installations where the primary conductor can be routed through the transformer during panel assembly. The DM4T1250 accommodates round cables up to 86 mm in diameter and rectangular busbars measuring 100 × 30 mm, 80 × 50 mm or 70 × 60 mm, making it suitable for high-current industrial power-distribution equipment.
