The EMAS RDA1A is a compact digital ammeter panel meter designed for monitoring AC current in industrial electrical panels, machinery and power distribution systems. Part of the EMAS RD series, it combines a clear digital display with an adjustable current transformer ratio and an integrated changeover relay output.
The RDA1A measures a 0 to 5 A current transformer secondary signal and supports an adjustable .../5 A current transformer setting. This allows the displayed current value to be configured for the primary rating of the installed current transformer, making the instrument suitable for monitoring a wide range of higher-current electrical circuits.
Operating from a 230 V AC, 50 Hz supply, the meter features a three-digit seven-segment display for clear current indication. Its integrated 1CO relay output provides switching functionality for alarms, contactors or control circuits when the configured current threshold is reached.
Digital ammeters provide continuous indication of the current flowing through an electrical circuit. When used with a suitable current transformer, the EMAS RDA1A can monitor circuits carrying currents substantially higher than the meter's direct 0 to 5 A measuring input.
