The ABB DSN201E C6 A30 is a compact residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) designed to protect single-phase final circuits against overloads, short circuits and earth leakage faults. As part of the dependable ABB DSN201E series, it combines residual current and overcurrent protection within a space-saving single-module device.
This electronic RCBO features a C tripping characteristic and Type A residual current protection. It can detect sinusoidal alternating residual currents and pulsating DC residual currents, making it suitable for modern electrical circuits containing electronic equipment and power supplies.
With a rated current of 6 A, a residual operating current of 30 mA and a short-circuit breaking capacity of 6 kA, the DSN201E C6 A30 provides reliable protection for lighting, control and other low-current final circuits. Its 1P+N switched-neutral configuration and one-module width help reduce installation space inside electrical distribution boards.
Key Advantages
Combined residual current and overcurrent protection in one device.
6 A rated current suitable for low-current final circuits.
30 mA residual current sensitivity for additional protection against electric shock.
Type A protection detects AC and pulsating DC residual currents.
The ABB DSN201E C6 A30 combines the functions of a miniature circuit breaker and a residual current device. Its overcurrent protection disconnects the circuit during overload or short-circuit conditions, while its residual current function responds when potentially hazardous leakage current flows to earth.
Type A residual current detection makes the RCBO suitable for circuits supplying equipment with electronic components that may generate pulsating DC leakage currents. The switched neutral and compact one-module construction support safe isolation and efficient installation in modern electrical distribution systems.
Typical Applications
Domestic and commercial lighting circuits.
Building control and automation circuits.
Small electrical loads and final circuits.
Commercial distribution boards.
Residential consumer units.
Circuits supplying electronic equipment.
