The MSBS41420 is designed to be mounted vertically in compatible MSVH busbar supports using standard bolts, washers and nuts. This arrangement provides a flexible and straightforward method of constructing a plug-in power distribution system while supporting high-current industrial applications. The busbar system has been tested in accordance with IEC 61439.
Designed for 2000 mm high enclosures, the MSBS41420 uses a 1772 mm busbar length and supports a rated current of up to 1400 A with a rated short-time withstand current of up to 50 kA. The rated current can be increased to as much as 2 × 1400 A when the incoming connection is positioned in the middle. The busbars are manufactured from conductive tin-plated aluminium and are supplied as a set of four.
