The ILME CX36IF is an exceptionally high-density 36-pole female modular insert designed for signal transmission within the ILME MIXO heavy-duty modular connector system. With all 36 contact positions contained within only one MIXO module, it enables a large number of control and signal circuits to be concentrated into a compact industrial connector assembly.
The CX36IF is rated at 4 A and 32 V, with a 0.8 kV rated impulse withstand voltage at pollution degree 3. Its high contact density makes it particularly suitable for automation, robotics and machinery applications where reducing connector size while maintaining a large number of individual circuits is a priority.
Designed for crimp termination, the CX36IF is supplied without contacts. Compatible ILME CI 4 A female crimp contacts are ordered separately and are available with silver or gold plating for conductor sizes from 0.08 mm² to 0.52 mm². The insert also supports HNM applications when combined with the appropriate specially treated contacts and HNM system components.

Maximum Signal Density in a Single MIXO Module
The CX36IF was developed for applications requiring the highest possible number of contacts within minimal mounting space. Providing 36 poles in just one MIXO module, it enables designers to significantly increase signal density while preserving additional frame positions for power, data, pneumatic or other compatible MIXO modules.
The insert accepts separately ordered CI 4 A female crimp contacts. Standard silver- and gold-plated contacts are available for 0.08–0.21 mm², 0.13–0.33 mm² and 0.33–0.52 mm² conductors. Special HNM contact options can also be used with appropriate frames and connector components for applications requiring substantially increased mating durability.
