When the RX02TM frame is combined with a compatible HNM enclosure, the connector system is designed to achieve at least 10,000 mating cycles. Compatible standard single-lever enclosures can provide at least 5,000 mating cycles with the HNM frame.
Although RX02TM is conventionally designated as the frame type for hoods, ILME specifies that this designation does not restrict it exclusively to hood installation. The frame can be mounted in either a hood or housing, provided a complete modular connector coupling contains the required complementary M and F frame types. This flexibility, together with the MIXO modular architecture, allows engineers to configure connectors combining different electrical and signal functions within a single industrial interface.
