The Lovato 11SN1X is an SN1 single-pole level detector probe designed for conductive liquid level monitoring in wells, tanks and storage vessels. As part of the Lovato level control accessory range, it is designed for use with compatible Lovato level control relays to detect the presence or absence of conductive liquids.
The SN1 detector incorporates an AISI 303 stainless steel electrode, a plastic PPOX holder and a cable gland. Its construction is designed to provide reliable operation in liquid-level sensing applications, while the sealing ring and tightened cable gland help prevent water from entering the cable terminal connection and causing oxidation.
The probe is suitable for applications in tanks and deep wells and supports external cable diameters from 2.5–6 mm for effective sealing through its PG7 cable gland. It can operate at temperatures up to +60 °C and accepts conductors up to 2.5 mm², making it a practical sensing accessory for industrial and commercial liquid level control systems.
Conductive level control systems use electrodes installed at selected heights inside a tank, vessel or well to determine whether liquid is present at those points. When used with a compatible Lovato level control relay, the SN1 probe forms part of a system that can automatically control filling, emptying or level monitoring functions.
For deep-well installations, the SN1 probe can be suspended by its electrical cable to position the stainless steel sensing electrode at the required level. Its sealed cable entry and corrosion-resistant electrode make it suitable for dependable level detection in a wide range of conductive liquid applications.
