The Lovato LVFSA1D15 is a dedicated float switch for drinking-water level control, designed for automatic filling and emptying applications in tanks, reservoirs and potable-water systems. Part of the Lovato LVFSA1 range, this version is supplied with a 15 m PVC AD8 3G1 cable with ACS health certification for drinking-water applications.
The LVFSA1D15 incorporates 1 changeover (C/O-SPDT) contact rated at 10 A AC1 at 250 V AC and 8 A AC15 at 250 V AC. Its 30° activation angle enables the float to change contact state as the water level rises or falls, allowing the same device to be configured for either filling or emptying control.
An external AISI 316 stainless-steel counterweight is supplied with the float switch, allowing the switching level to be adjusted by changing the distance between the float and counterweight. With IP68 protection, a polypropylene float casing, a maximum operating pressure of 2 bar and installation depth up to 20 m, the LVFSA1D15 provides a robust solution for potable-water level management.
The Lovato LVFSA1D15 uses the movement of the float to operate its internal changeover contact as the water level changes. The 30° activation angle and adjustable external counterweight allow the switching level to be configured for the installation, while the changeover contact permits selection of filling or emptying operation during wiring.
