The Lovato P5X18472 is a red/yellow padlockable door coupling handle designed for compatible Lovato P5ME moulded case circuit breakers in the 400 A and 630 A frame sizes. As part of the Lovato P5 MCCB accessory range, it provides convenient external operation of a circuit breaker installed inside an electrical enclosure.
The P5X18472 is supplied complete with a 469 mm shaft, connecting the external handle to the operating mechanism of the MCCB. Its door-coupling arrangement provides an interlocking function between the enclosure door and circuit breaker operator, while the mechanism can be defeated where required in accordance with UL508A provisions.
Designed for industrial switchboards and machinery panels, the P5X18472 provides IP65 frontal protection and accepts a padlock with a diameter of up to 6 mm. Its highly visible red/yellow colour scheme makes it particularly suitable for isolation and disconnecting applications where clear identification and the ability to secure the operating position are important.
