Why Choose the Finder 19.6K.9.030.4300 KNX Switching Actuator?
The Finder 19.6K.9.030.4300 is a compact and powerful 6-channel KNX switching actuator designed for intelligent control of electrical loads in residential, commercial and industrial building automation systems. As part of the Finder 19 Series relay actuator range, this DIN rail-mounted device provides six independently configurable relay outputs, allowing lighting circuits and other compatible electrical equipment to be controlled through a KNX building automation network.
Featuring six 16 A bistable relay outputs, the Finder 19.6K combines reliable electrical switching with advanced timing functions, logical operations and scenario management. Each output can be configured as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) through KNX Engineering Tool Software (ETS), providing flexibility for different control requirements. Integrated front-panel push-buttons and LED status indicators also allow convenient local testing and manual operation during commissioning and maintenance.
Operating directly from the KNX bus at a nominal 30 V DC, the 19.6K.9.030.4300 requires no separate auxiliary power supply for its control electronics. Each output is rated at 16 A and 250 V AC, with a maximum AC1 switching capacity of 4,000 VA. Its compact 70 mm DIN rail-mounted housing makes it ideal for electrical distribution boards, lighting control panels and KNX automation installations requiring dependable multi-channel switching.

Reliable KNX Switching Control for Intelligent Building Automation
The Finder 19.6K.9.030.4300 KNX switching actuator provides centralised and distributed control of electrical circuits through a KNX building automation network. By converting KNX communication commands into physical relay switching operations, the device enables lighting, suitable electrical appliances and other compatible loads to be operated automatically according to programmed schedules, occupancy conditions and building management requirements.
Each of the six independent relay channels can be configured individually as normally open or normally closed using ETS software. This flexibility allows the actuator to manage different types of electrical circuits within the same installation. The bistable relay design provides reliable switching performance, while the high peak current capability makes the device particularly suitable for appropriately rated lighting applications where significant initial inrush currents may occur.
The actuator includes advanced timing and logic functions that reduce the need for additional control components. ON and OFF timing, blinking operation and staircase timer functions can be configured independently for each channel. AND, OR and XOR logic functions, together with THRESHOLD and WINDOW operations, allow switching behaviour to respond to multiple KNX inputs and defined operating conditions.
Integrated KNX scenario management enables groups of connected circuits to respond to predefined commands. For example, a building automation system can activate selected lighting circuits when a room becomes occupied, switch off unnecessary loads outside working hours or coordinate multiple outputs as part of a programmed operating scenario.
For commissioning and maintenance, the Finder 19.6K provides a dedicated TEST button and individual output push-buttons. Holding the TEST button for approximately 3 s enables manual output control, allowing individual relays to be switched locally. Green LED indicators show the state of each output contact, while separate programming and test indicators provide additional diagnostic information.
The device receives its operating supply directly from the KNX bus, simplifying electrical installation by eliminating the need for an additional auxiliary control supply. After connection to a powered KNX bus, an initial start-up period of approximately 18 s is required before switching commands can be executed. The compact DIN rail format makes the actuator suitable for professional electrical distribution boards and KNX control cabinets.
