With a rated cooling output of 0.78 kW at L35 L35, the SK 3180.800 is suitable for removing heat generated by drives, PLCs, power electronics and other temperature-sensitive components. The compact wall-mounted unit measures 300 × 570 × 250 mm and incorporates an integral electric condensate evaporator for simplified condensate management. The Rittal Blue e+ S platform combines passive heat-pipe cooling with variable-speed compressor refrigeration to match cooling performance to the actual thermal load. When ambient conditions permit, heat can be transferred without operating the compressor, helping reduce electrical consumption and mechanical wear while maintaining a controlled enclosure temperature.
When additional cooling is required, the active refrigerant circuit supplements the heat-pipe system to provide up to 0.78 kW of cooling output. The integrated e+ controller regulates operation according to enclosure conditions, while the separate internal and external airflow circuits help prevent ambient contamination from entering the enclosure.
