The Lovato LVMKIT20A240 is a complete level control starter kit designed for automatic emptying control of tanks and reservoirs containing conductive liquids. The kit combines a Lovato LVM20A240 modular level monitoring relay with two SN1 electrodes, providing the core components required for reliable conductive liquid level detection and pump control.
Operating from a 220–240 V AC auxiliary supply at 50/60 Hz, the LVM20 relay uses a low-voltage 7.5 V AC electrode circuit and provides adjustable sensitivity from 2.5–50 kΩ. Up to three electrodes can be connected for MIN, MAX and COM level detection, allowing the relay to monitor the electrical conductivity of the liquid and automatically control an emptying application.
The LVMKIT20A240 provides one SPDT changeover relay output with automatic resetting, a tripping time of ≤0.6 s and a resetting time of ≤0.75 s. Green and red LED indicators provide clear power and relay-state information, while the compact two-module DIN rail construction makes the kit well suited to pump panels, water management systems and industrial liquid-level control applications.
Conductive liquid level relays such as the Lovato LVM20 monitor the electrical resistance between electrodes installed at defined levels within a tank or reservoir. When the conductive liquid reaches or leaves the relevant electrodes, the relay changes the state of its output contact, allowing pumps, contactors or other control equipment to operate automatically without mechanical float switching.
