The Lovato YD11230 is a reliable star-delta motor starter designed to reduce motor starting current while providing dependable starting and stopping of three-phase induction motors. As part of the proven Lovato L-Starter range, this enclosed starter is ideal for industrial applications where reduced inrush current is required for larger motors.
Featuring integrated Start and Stop push-button controls, the YD11230 automatically transitions from star to delta operation after the preset starting period, reducing electrical stress on the power supply and mechanical stress on the motor. The durable IP65 insulated enclosure protects the internal components from dust and water ingress, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
With a rated motor power of 11 kW, a 22 A operational current and a 230 V AC control coil, the YD11230 is well suited to compressors, pumps, conveyors and other machinery requiring reduced-current motor starting. A compatible thermal overload relay is selected separately and should be set to approximately 58% of the motor full-load current for star-delta applications.
