ABB A44 113-100 is a three-phase CT/VT-connected DIN-rail active energy meter with Class B accuracy, measurement current up to 6 A, configurable transformer ratios and integrated M-Bus communication.
The ABB A44 113-100 is an advanced three-phase CT/VT-connected electricity meter designed for accurate active energy measurement in industrial, commercial and building-services installations. As part of the ABB A44 energy meter series, it is intended for indirect measurement of three-phase networks where external current and, where required, voltage transformers are used.
The A44 113-100 supports both 3-wire and 4-wire three-phase systems and provides configurable transformer ratios for current and voltage. It measures active energy to Class B (Class 1) accuracy and accepts measurement current up to 6 A, making it suitable for transformer-connected metering of higher-current electrical distribution systems.
Integrated M-Bus communication enables remote meter reading and connection to compatible building and energy-management systems. The meter also provides a configurable output for active-energy pulses or alarm signalling, up to 25 configurable alarm conditions, an infrared interface and a large backlit display showing energy and key electrical instrumentation values.

Transformer-connected energy meters such as the ABB A44 113-100 allow higher-current three-phase electrical systems to be monitored without routing the full load current through the meter. External current transformers provide a reduced measurement signal, while configurable current and voltage transformer ratios enable the meter to calculate energy consumption for the primary electrical circuit.
Beyond accumulated active energy, the A44 113-100 provides instrumentation values including power, current, line-to-line and line-to-neutral voltage, frequency and power factor, both per phase and as total values.
